Ms. Hao has over 19 years of experience in project management, program design and implementation, 13 years of experience in proposal development and grant writing, and 10 years of experience as a renewable energy and energy efficiency professional. A creative and critical thinker, Ms. Hao brings additional skills in group facilitation, writing and editing. Ms. Hao has managed programs and organizations with budgets up to $2 million, written $3 million proposals, and supervised teams as large as 10 staff.
 
Ms. Hao is skilled in technical analysis for energy measurement and savings for both energy efficiency and renewable energy projects. She has conducted energy-related policy research and recommendations, standards and code regulatory development, energy efficient lighting and wireless controls audits, and green building measures. She has performed energy usage, generation capacity and economic payback analysis for combined heat and power microturbine, photovoltaic solar array, in-conduit hydroelectric and load shifting projects. Ms. Hao is highly engaged in community projects that include energy conservation measures, municipal composting, community solar initiatives, and electric vehicles.
