EN2 has been assisting Tuolumne Utilties District with the creation of a Wildfire Defense Plan by facilitating stakeholder engagement, developing a mapping system, and providing project management support. Additionally, EN2 has been working with TUD to further develop a Wildlife Mitigation Plan and a Raw Water Ditch Fire Draft Points Preliminary Plan, as well as identifying emergency water access points along the District's raw water ditch system. The Raw Water Ditch Fire Draft Points Preliminary Plan is part of a broader District effort to plan for future improvements in land use and vegetation management, District raw water infrastructure, natural wildfire buffer zones to increase defensible space, future firefighting capacity, and future landscape fire resiliency for District customers and Tuolumne County communities.
